The SC10, SCB10 series, and SCB11 epoxy-resin cast dry-type transformers are difficult to ignite, fire-resistant, explosion-proof, maintenance-free, pollution-free, and compact in size—allowing them to be installed directly at the load center. Moreover, their scientifically sound design and advanced casting process ensure lower partial discharge levels and reduced noise, while also providing excellent heat dissipation. Under forced-air cooling conditions, these transformers can operate continuously at 140% of their rated load. They are equipped with an intelligent temperature controller that features fault alarms, over-temperature alarms, over-temperature trip functions, and black-out protection. Additionally, they can be connected to a computer via an RS485 serial interface for centralized monitoring and control.
Due to the aforementioned features of this series of dry-type transformers, they are widely used in power transmission and distribution systems—including such critical locations as hotels, restaurants, airports, high-rise buildings, commercial centers, and residential communities—as well as in harsh environments such as subways, smelting power plants, ships, and offshore drilling platforms.
