Product Introduction
The GCK low-voltage withdrawable switchgear consists of two main components: the Power Control Center (PC) cabinet and the Motor Control Center (MCC). This equipment is suitable for AC systems with a frequency of 50 (60) Hz, a rated operating voltage of 690V or less, and a rated current of 4000A or lower. It is used as distribution equipment for power distribution, motor control, and lighting applications.
It boasts high breaking capacity, excellent dynamic and thermal stability, an advanced and rational structure, flexible electrical configurations, strong series compatibility and versatility, the ability to freely combine various modular units, a large number of circuits that can be accommodated within a single cabinet, space-saving design, high protection rating, high safety and reliability, and convenient maintenance. It is widely used in power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, office buildings, hotels, airports, docks, and communication centers such as radio and television stations.
Model Meaning
Operating environment
▷ Operating environment: D altitude not exceeding 2000m;
▷ The ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40℃, and the average temperature over any 24-hour period shall not exceed +35℃; the ambient air temperature shall not be lower than -50℃.
▷ Atmospheric conditions: The air shall be clean, with relative humidity not exceeding 50% at a temperature of +40℃. At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is permissible—for example, 90% at +20℃.
▷ Locations free from fire, explosion hazards, severe contamination, chemical corrosion, and violent vibrations;
▷ Tilt with respect to the vertical plane not exceeding 5°;
▷ This product is suitable for transportation and storage at temperatures ranging from -25℃ to +55℃; in short-term conditions (no longer than 24 hours), the temperature may not exceed +70℃.
▷ If the above-mentioned usage conditions cannot be met, the user shall notify the manufacturer at the time of ordering and negotiate a solution.
Product Features
▷ The frame is made of shaped steel and uses three-dimensional corner plates for positioning. It features bolted connections without welding, thereby eliminating welding-induced deformation and stress and improving installation accuracy.
▷ The mounting holes for the frame and components vary according to a modulus of E = 20 mm.
▷ The internal structural components are galvanized. The exterior, after pickling and phosphating, is coated with electrostatic epoxy powder spray.
▷ The drawer function unit and the door are mechanically interlocked via the main switch’s operating mechanism. When the main switch is in the closed position, the door cannot be opened, and the operating mechanism can be locked in either the closed or open position by using an external padlock.
▷ The functional unit compartments are separated by metal plates. The drawers feature excellent interchangeability and are equipped with working position, test position, and isolation position. When a drawer is pushed to a specific position, it automatically locks into place. At this point, you can pull the pull plate on the left side of the drawer to release the lock and move the drawer to the next position. Additionally, when the drawer is pulled completely out of the cabinet, it is equipped with an anti-drop mechanism to prevent it from falling out accidentally.
▷ The cabinet bodies for fixed installations—such as capacitor compensation and metering—and drawer-type cabinet bodies feature the same exterior design and the same horizontal busbar positioning. This ensures that drawer-type and fixed-type cabinet bodies can be used side by side.
▷ The busbar system in the switchgear cabinet adopts a three-phase five-wire system. When the rated current of the horizontal busbar is 1250 A or less, a single busbar is used; when the rated current exceeds 1250 A, a double busbar is employed. Horizontal busbars between cabinets are connected via connecting blocks. Vertical busbars are enclosed in housings made of polycarbonate engineering plastic, with internal partitions designed to limit the spread of electric arcs. The neutral busbar is located at the front of the cabinet top, while the protective earth (PE) busbar is installed at the bottom of the cabinet and connected to the cabinet’s partitions and doors, thereby ensuring continuous grounding.
