Product Introduction

The XM series metering boxes are widely used in commercial outlets, villas, and other residential premises with high electricity consumption and diverse electrical loads that require independent metering at AC 380V/220V voltage levels. They are suitable for low-voltage metering boxes rated at 0.38kV, power users with equipment capacities below 100kW supplied via low-voltage systems, and low-voltage lighting users with equipment capacities below 5kW.

The product is available in two types: surface-mounted and flush-mounted (recessed). The enclosure and lid are formed by bending steel plates or stainless steel plates. The enclosure design safely shields live parts, and the small cover can be opened to operate the automatic switch. The enclosure’s surface is coated with an epoxy resin powder using precision electrostatic spraying, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and durability.

Product Features

▷ The enclosure is made of cold-rolled steel sheet, stainless steel sheet, and engineering plastics, and is equipped with an anti-theft electromagnetic lock. The observation window is made of polycarbonate, which is impact-resistant, highly transparent, and features inlet and outlet cable holes at the top and bottom.

▷ The XM-type metering box is characterized by its safe and reliable power supply. Inside the box, wire cross-sections are arranged for press-in wiring. The box is equipped with insulated clips and brackets for securely fixing the main distribution lines. The metering box is designed for five-wire power supply, and an insulating frame for the PE protective grounding wire is provided inside the box.

▷ The enclosure is horizontally divided into three sections: the left section houses the incoming power supply for this unit and is equipped with an HD11 knife switch; the middle section contains the metering device and the electric energy meter; and the right section features a smart switch serving as short-circuit protection.

▷ The XM unit serves as both a power supply and an electricity metering box for the distribution point. The box is divided into three sections—left, middle, and right—separated by steel plates, each with cable-entry holes. The main power distribution lines are routed through these holes to the left section and then emerge from the upper and lower sections on the right side.
