The YB-12/0.4 series prefabricated substations integrate high-voltage switchgear, transformers, low-voltage switchgear, and other equipment into a compact, complete distribution unit. They are designed for use in urban high-rise buildings, urban and rural constructions, residential communities, high-tech development zones, small and medium-sized factories, mines, oilfields, and temporary construction sites—serving exclusively as devices for receiving and distributing electrical energy within power distribution systems.

The YB series prefabricated substations feature strong integration, compact size, tight mechanical design, reliable operation, convenient maintenance, and mobility. Compared with conventional civil-engineered substations, a packaged substation of the same capacity typically occupies only 1/10 to 1/5 of the land area required by a conventional substation, significantly reducing both design and construction efforts as well as capital costs. In distribution systems, these substations can be used in ring-network distribution systems, dual-power supply systems, or radial-terminal distribution systems. They represent a new type of integrated equipment for the construction and renovation of substations in both urban and rural areas.

Product Features

▷ This product consists of a high-voltage switchgear, a transformer, and a low-voltage switchgear connected together, and is divided into three functional compartments: the high-voltage compartment, the transformer compartment, and the low-voltage compartment. Both the high- and low-voltage compartments are fully equipped with all necessary functions. The high-voltage side primary power supply system can be configured in various ways, including ring network power supply, terminal power supply, and dual-power supply. Additionally, high-voltage metering components can be installed to meet high-voltage metering requirements. The transformer compartment can accommodate S11, SC, and other series of low-loss oil-immersed transformers or dry-type transformers. The low-voltage compartment, according to user requirements, can adopt either panel-mounted or cabinet-mounted structures to form the power supply solution tailored to the user’s needs. It offers a variety of functions, including power distribution, lighting distribution, reactive power compensation, electrical energy metering, and electricity quantity measurement, thereby satisfying diverse user demands. Moreover, it facilitates power supply management for users and enhances power supply quality.

▷ The high-voltage switchgear room features a compact and rational design, equipped with interlocking mechanisms to prevent erroneous operations. When requested by the user, the transformer can be fitted with rails that allow for easy access from either side of the room’s main doors. Each compartment is equipped with automatic lighting. Moreover, all components selected for the high- and low-voltage compartments are highly reliable, easy to operate, and ensure dependable product performance and convenient maintenance. The system employs both natural ventilation and forced ventilation methods. Both the transformer room and the high- and low-voltage rooms are provided with ventilation ducts; the exhaust fans are fitted with temperature-control devices that automatically start and stop according to preset temperatures, thereby guaranteeing the transformer’s normal operation. The enclosure structure effectively prevents rainwater and contaminants from entering. The materials used are color-coated steel sheets, offering anti-corrosion and thermal insulation properties. This design is suitable for long-term outdoor use, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance, dustproof performance, and a long service life, while also boasting an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
