Product Introduction

The HXGN15-12 modular sulfur hexafluoride ring main unit is suitable for AC power systems with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage rating of 12 kV. It is widely used in industrial and civil cable ring networks and at power supply terminals. It is particularly well-suited for the following applications: small secondary substations, switchgear stations, power distribution in urban residential areas, industrial and mining enterprises, shopping malls, airports, subways, wind power generation, hospitals, stadiums, railways, and other similar facilities.

The ring main unit is equipped with an SF6 load switch or an SF6 load switch combined with a fuse, enabling it to make and break rated load currents, close and open rated short-circuit currents, and interrupt no-load currents of transformers. When paired with a fuse, this combined device can interrupt a short-circuit current of up to 31.5 kA in a single operation, thereby playing a crucial role in control and protection within power systems.
